Health & Safety
Health and safety are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a warm, safe and secure environment.​At Bright Children Development Center, the health and safety of our children, staff, and families is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets or exceeds the health and safety guidelines set by local and state authorities. Below are some of the key protocols we have in place:​

Illness Protocol: Children or staff displaying symptoms of respiratory illness or fever must remain at home until they are symptom-free. They may return to the center only after providing a doctor's note confirming they are fit to do so.
Sanitization: We implement frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of toys, surfaces, and all commonly used areas throughout the day to ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Handwashing: Regular handwashing is required for both children and staff. We encourage handwashing before meals, after using the restroom, and after outdoor activities to reduce the spread of germs.
Staff Training: Our staff undergoes periodic training on recognizing signs of illness in children, first aid, CPR, and other health and safety certifications to ensure they are prepared to respond effectively to any situation.
Individual Bedding: Each child is provided with their own cot, sheets, and blankets, which are laundered weekly at home (or daily for infants) to ensure proper hygiene.
Teacher-Student Ratio: We maintain an appropriate teacher-student ratio in all classrooms to ensure each child receives the attention and care they need in a safe, supportive environment.
Ongoing Safety Meetings: Our staff holds weekly meetings to review and update our Safety School Plan, ensuring all team members are aligned with our health and safety procedures and protocols.
These measures are designed to provide a healthy and safe space for our children to grow, learn, and thrive while giving peace of mind to parents and guardians. We are dedicated to continuously monitoring and adjusting our protocols to meet evolving health guidelines.
